Sometimes the most compelling images appear not in the paint itself, but in the empty spaces between.

As I searched these paintings, shapes quietly emerged from the negative space—ordinary objects, familiar companions, and forms that seemed to exist just beyond recognition.

This series makes me wonder, what else have we overlooked simply because we weren't looking for it?
